Then do not diversely teach your teaching: if you recognize as Jewish and trust in the Law and have pride in God and understand the will but certify by the Law to lecture the deviates: I am convinced that you are a blind leader, shielded from the light, senseless chastisers, and babylike teachers. By using the Law, the knowledge and the truth got distorted.

^2:17 If you recognize as Jewish and trust in the Law and have pride in God ¹⁸ and understand the will but certify to lecture the deviates by the Law: ¹⁹ I am convinced that you are a blind leader, shielded from the light, ²⁰ senseless chastisers, and babylike teachers. Having distorted the knowledge and the truth by the Law, ²¹ then do not diversely teach your teaching.
