Recovered: Warning for Fake PayPal Accounts Portraying as Me or This Ministry

2026-02-26: PayPal Account has successfully been recovered, see here.

2025-12-16 an update: A few days ago I did contact PayPal via contact form that I couldn’t reach my account. They did answer me on the support ticket and asked me to call them. I did call them and received a link in a mail to reset my password. The information on the webpage requested me to install the PayPal app on the phone. Then a process started that required me to do facial recognition, this worked for a while but the process hanged for several minutes. I started the process again, and once again the app hanged. It was not successful in restoring my PayPal account. I’ll try again in three days to see if I can have it to work.

2025-12-03: For about a week ago (in this writing moment), I installed a new phone for private and ministry use. Adding the PayPal android app, I failed to login and authenticate repeatedly. After trying to change my password, I found out I had lost control over may PayPal account. Whatever you do do not PAY or TRANSFER money to a PayPal account having my face. Probably the paypal.me link is still active. STAY OUT OF PAYPAL, you should be able to recover your account properly.
